“ Decided to stop for dinner at Vicinato, in Mayfair Hts., because my past dining experiences with the display of customer service and our love for Italian food. My date and I decided tonight to stop by for dinner. We were seated by the host. We sat , never greeted by the waitress. We sat for a period of time and watched the waitress, chit chat with one party while they packed up their food. Waitress, then walked past my table to chit chat with another customer in the middle of the dining area, followed by this same waitress chit chatted with the party seated at table behind me. Waitress walked and pranced never acknowledging our presence never said she would be with me and my party. Never offered a glass of water. This was a lack of customer server not to mention the waitress racist games. I asked to speak with the Manager, manager was apologetic, however, it was in a nonchalant manner. What validated the behavior of the waitress another customer agreed with my complaint. To the waitress you missed out on a TIP that you would have thought you hit the jackpot and made headline news. ”

We were treated like old friends, the whole meal was delicious; we had wedding soup, linguine with red clam sauce, penne with meat sauce and tiramisu for dessert. Our server was Patty; she is fantastic!! Can't wait to go back for more. ”

“ We Love Vicinato's! Family owned and run and they welcome you like you are part of the family. Food is always delicious! Friday is pasta Fagioli and Tripe special. My husband's favorite. A favorite is the fresh hot Italian Bread and Butter. Its SO GOOD! Our server Shannon was fabulous! She has been here over 20 years. I love my salad and Mushroom/onion Pizza! It is a great little restaurant that you will want to come back for lunch and dinner again and again! Subs, Pasta, cutlets and all things Italian. And they have Take Out too! ”
“ First time ordered for to go and I like it. I ordered a small pizza and a tiramisu. Pizza was good, but i would prefer grilled tomatoes and olives instead of fresh. Tiramisu was pretty good. I will order from this restaurant again. ”
“ OMG I hadn't been there in years & it's still as wonderful as always. When I opened the door and smelled the awesome food a million wonderful memories came flooding back! Their bread is amazing! My Husband had the Italian wedding soup which is a very hearty soup! You definitely have to try it! The salads were fresh with excellent dressings. My husband had the house dressing and he was very impressed. I had the blue cheese and it was as tasty as I remembered! Then I got my favorite, spaghetti with mushrooms! It was even better than I remembered! My husband had veal piccata with the side of spaghetti that was the size of a main meal at other restaurants! We ended up bringing lots of food home! ”
